Ingredients:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 oz pasta of your choice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions:
Get the oven ready by heating it up to 400F 200C
Breadcrumbs, flour, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a shallow dish
Cover each chicken breast with the mixture and press it down to make it stick
Set a pan on medium heat and add the olive oil
It will take about 34 minutes on each side for the chicken breasts to turn golden brown after you add them
Put the chicken in a baking dish and bake it for 15 to 20 minutes, or until it's fully cooked
In the meantime, cook the pasta until it's al dente according to the directions on the package
Melt the butter over medium heat in a different pan
For about one minute, until the garlic smells good, add the minced garlic
Add heavy cream, lemon zest, and lemon juice, and mix well
Wait two to three minutes
When the pasta is done, add it to the pan and toss it around in the creamy lemon garlic sauce
Cut up the chicken breasts and put them on top of the creamy lemon garlic pasta
Add chopped parsley as a garnish before serving
